Fleurieu Chefs of the Future

As part of Onkaparinga Youth Week, Willunga Farmers Market are proud to provide an opportunity for aspiring and apprentice chefs of the region to;
Showcase their skills
Gain a greater appreciation for the abundance, quality and range of fresh produce available to them
Improved demonstration skills
Menu planning skills

Tour the market and learn how local chefs, including Peter Reschke from d’arry’s Verandah Restaurant and Dennis Militante from the Old Bush Inn gain inspiration from local produce (30 March & 6 April)

On the “event day” of the program, 13 April 2019, participants will gather produce from the market, cook the dish and offer tastings to market customers.

Participation can be individual or a pair of students working together.
The event is open to anyone aged 16 to 25 years
