Nomad Farms is an award winning family owned and run farm in the Finniss Valley on the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia. We produce a range of uncertified organic, pasture raised produce of the highest quality. Our production methods, uniquely, regenerate landscapes, and it is the principle of regeneration – ecologically, socially and economically – upon which our business is based.

In our few years of setting up the farm, we are proud of achievements so far including winning the 2015 South Australian Landcare Award for Innovation in Sustainable Farm Practices, finalists in the 2016 National Landcare Awards, winning SA Delicious Produce Award 2017 and finalists in the 2017 National Delicious Awards.

Nomad Farms was established by farmers Tom Bradman and Verity Slee. Tom is a full time farmer who grew up on a small scale farm in the Adelaide Hills before working on sustainable agricultural policy in Canberra.

Nomad Farms was the name dreamt up while staring out a cold Canberra window many years ago. It embodies the constant movement of all our animals across the farm which is so crucial to our systems, the constant state of change of the natural systems we mimic in our regeneration effort, and of course our desire not to become a mad farm, which we think there might be a few of, so we say NO MAD FARMS!
