Gather for an exclusive long-table journey that unites Fleurieu Peninsula farmers and producers in the tastiest of ways. Eat, drink and learn more about this passionate community.

Sparkling wine will be served on arrival, along with orange and green juices and coffee from Piccolo Espresso.

A shared-plate breakfast will feature local pastries and croissants, yoghurt, smallgoods, cheese, fruit and shakshuka eggs with Little Acre Foods chorizo (a vegetarian option is also available). Finish with a selection of sweet treats from Soul Food & Co.

Chat during your meal with locals including Chris Duffy of Small World Bakery, Jim Casey from Little Acre Foods, Chris Williams of Fleurieu Prime Alpaca and the Alexandrina Cheese Company’s Rebekah McCaul. Discover how they work and why the Fleurieu is such a special region for food and beverage production.

Dining done, you can opt for a tour of the bustling stalls or simply explore at your own pace. Willunga Farmers Market was established in 2002 as the first of its kind in South Australia. In 2019 it was crowned Australia’s most outstanding farmers market at the delicious. Produce Awards.

Meet the Grower, Taste the Region, Eat the Street

Get ready for a big day of Fleurieu Peninsula favourites. Tour the Willunga Farmers Market, sample products created by passionate locals and then enjoy a three-course meal at Vigna Bottin Wines. Transport is taken care of; sit back, relax and soak it in.

Jump on your Chook’s Little Winery Tours bus from the Adelaide CBD at 9am and set off for the adventure. First you’ll have coffee at the farmers market and be guided around its stalls: more than 80 farmers and artisan food producers attend each week and tasting options are plentiful.

Next it’s off to uncover gems in Willunga’s historic High Street. Enjoy a private beer tasting with the Shifty Lizard Taphouse’s head brewer before meandering to Four Winds Chocolate, where founder Wendy Ashwin will share her creations.

From there you’ll travel to Vigna Bottin Wines for a structured tasting with owners Maria and Paul Bottin. Learn about the Italian varieties they’ve grown since 1970, then tuck into a three-course meal including fresh produce from the Willunga Farmers Market. Wines will be available to purchase by the bottle or glass. Your menu will include antipasto with cured meats, house-made pickles and preserves, olives, Andy Clappis bread, arancini and meatballs. Share seasonal mains – including a vegetarian option – and salad, then relax ahead of return bus journey at 3:30pm.
