Useful info

The Willunga Farmers Market has adapted to COVID-19 with a number of changes in order to create a safe and comfortable shopping environment for our community.  We are in regular contact with State Government, the City of Onkaparinga and SAPOL.  The market currently looks very different with all fresh fruit and vegetable stalls located across the road at Willunga Recreation Park.  Bread, eggs, meat, dairy and other value added products such as honey and olive oil can be found in Town Square.  Hand washing facilities are available at entry points to the market and santizer is also available throughout the Market.  Hot food has been suspended and we hope to see a return of these stalls in coming months.  Online shopping is available for our Members with collection on Saturday afternoon once the market has closed.

We thank our stallholders, shoppers and volunteers for their support during this time. Latest correspondence from State Govt

Whilst from time to time stall holders move location, our market maps will assist you to navigate the Market, find your favourite stalls and visit new ones.  Please do not hesitate to ask at the Information Stall if you are looking for a particular product or stall.  Please visit our weekly ins and outs post for this weeks map

Willunga has many free street parking spaces. On most market dates the Alma Hotel has a Lions-run-gold-coin donation car park on the pub grounds. On days when no sporting events are being played there is often opportunity to park in the recreation ground opposite the Town Square (gold coin donation to Willunga Rec Park Redevelopment fund).

Dogs at the Market

DOWNLOAD – Important Information to consider before bringing your dog to the Market

Willunga Farmers Market has investigated the presence of dogs at the Market from a food standards perspective, health and safety and liability issue. In conclusion we are pleased to welcome you and your dog to the Market and hope you have an enjoyable experience while shopping here.

To help others enjoy their experience please:

  • keep your dog on its lead and under your control at all times
  • clean up any dog faeces left by your dog
  • do not allow your dog to enter into a stall space as this is a food market
  • be especially careful around young children eating food
  • Note that under the Cat and Dog Act you are responsible and personally liable for your dog’s actions in a public space.

There is an ATM in the heart of the market, located on the steps to the Willunga Digital Hub at the St Peter’s Tce entrance. There is also an ANZ ATM machine in Willunga High St (outside of The General Store) and a privately operated machine in the Alma Hotel.

EFTPOS facilities

A growing number of our stall holders (including the WFM Informatin Stall) offer eftpos / electronic payment facilities at their stall.
